  1. POLICY STATEMENT


This Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy ("Policy") establishes our commitment to provide a workplace free from discrimination and harassment in accordance with all applicable federal laws. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by federal law.

  1. SCOPE AND JURISDICTION

    1. 2.1 This Policy applies to all aspects of the employment relationship, including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, job assignments, promotions, working conditions, compensation, benefits, discipline, termination, and all other terms and conditions of employment.

      1. 2.2 This Policy is governed exclusively by federal law, including but not limited to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Older Workers Benefits Protection Act, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Fair Labor Standards Act, Executive Order 11246, and all amendments thereto.

        1. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

          1. 3.1 Discrimination: Any form of discrimination based on any protected characteristic under federal law is strictly prohibited.

            1. 32 Harassment: Harassment based on any protected characteristic is prohibited. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, verbal, physical, or visual conduct that creates an intimidating, offensive, or hostile work environment.

      2. 3.3 Examples of Prohibited Behavior: Prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to:

        • Making derogatory remarks, gestures, or jokes based on protected characteristics

        • Engaging in stereotyping based on protected classifications

        • Displaying or distributing offensive materials based on protected classifications

        • Unwelcome touching, pinching, or other physical contact

        • Stalking or bullying

      3. 3.4 Retaliation: Retaliation against anyone for filing, reporting, or assisting in the investigation of a complaint regarding discrimination or harassment is prohibited.

        1. RESPONSIBILITIES

      4. 4.1 All employees must comply with this Policy at all times during employment.

      5. 4.2 Managers and supervisors have a special responsibility to maintain a work environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and to report any incidents they observe or become aware of.

      6. 4.3 Human Resources is responsible for implementing and administering this Policy, including conducting investigations of complaints.

        1. COMPLAINT PROCEDURE

      7. 5.1 Any employee who believes they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, or retaliation in violation of this Policy should report the incident promptly to their supervisor, any member of management, or Human Resources.

      8. 5.2 All complaints will be promptly investigated in as confidential a manner as possible while still conducting a thorough investigation.

      9. 5.3 If an investigation confirms that a violation of this Policy has occurred, appropriate corrective action will be taken, up to and including termination of employment.

        1. COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS

      10. 6.1 The organization will comply with all federal equal employment opportunity laws and regulations, including posting required notices, maintaining required records, and filing required reports.

      11. 6.2 The organization will develop and implement an affirmative action program as required by applicable federal laws and regulations.

        1. TRAINING

      12. 7.1 All employees will receive periodic training on this Policy, including their rights and responsibilities under federal equal employment opportunity laws.

      13. 7.2 Additional training will be provided to managers and supervisors regarding their responsibilities to prevent and address discrimination and harassment in the workplace.

        1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT


All employees must acknowledge receipt and understanding of this Policy as a condition of employment.
