How Kara Built KS Consulting

During the economic uncertainty of the mid-2000s, Kara Davis saw businesses struggling to manage complex workforce and operational challenges without the resources to maintain full-time teams in human resources, payroll, budgeting, branding, and project management. As trusted colleagues began turning to her for guidance, Kara traveled throughout the United States, working alongside private companies and federal contractors to develop practical human capital and corporate optimization strategies—often providing her expertise pro bono.

What began as Kara’s commitment to helping organizations navigate a difficult time grew into KS Consulting in 2009. Many of those early relationships continue today, reflecting the trust Kara has built through hands-on support, strategic insight, and a genuine investment in each client’s success. Her belief remains at the heart of KS Consulting: stronger organizations create stronger communities and a better future for the families and children who depend on them.
